The Basel Sinfonietta performs three new works for symphony orchestra as part of the Basel Composition Competition. Also involved are the Kammerorchester Basel and Basel Sinfonieorchester. The three works performed by the Basel Sinfonietta conducted by Peter Rundel are:

Hiroshi Nakamura — Nue
Yiqing Zhu — DeepGrey
