The lovers of Verona have conquered the ballet stage thanks to the music of Sergei Prokofiev. He captured the clash of love and hate alongside the juxtaposition of tenderness and violence in his colourful, glowing score in an ingenious way. Cathy Marston brings the world's most famous love story to the stage with the Ballet Zurich as a world of contrasts, in which from one second to the next everything can turn into its opposite. For the first time, Marston works together with the opera house’s GMD, Gianandrea Noseda.
