Nouvel Ensemble Contemporain: Psychédélique Instrumental

For the opening of Festival Les Amplitudes, the Nouvel Ensemble Contemporain NEC offers an electric, lively and diverse concert programme. Pocket Enemy is inspired by the idea of a kind of anaesthesia to the brain caused by screen time its associated signals. Henry in the sky with diamonds questions the perception of time under the influence of narcotics. Invited by Daniel Zea, artist Réka Csiszér rounds off this programme with a new work specially commissioned by the festival and the NEC. A singer, musician and composer active in many multidisciplinary projects, she creates conceptual and audiovisual works inspired by science fiction and avant-garde experimentation. Her compositions combine elements of film, experimental, avant-pop, cosmic, atmospherical, classical and radiophonic music.
